Staff Restaurant Chef The Staff Restaurant Chef is responsible for the daily restaurant operations ensuring internal customers always receive the highest standards of food service and cooperation. Fantastic opportunity for work life balance, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. The role * All 3 daily meals should be catered for. * Food temperatures are logged on Food alert management system for all 3 meal periods. * Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist. * Follow weekly and biweekly staff canteen menus. * Set-up – Staff Restaurant for both lunch and dinner service. * All food needs topping up until closing times. Please check the canteen is topped up regularly especially between 1.00pm – 2.30pm and 5pm to 6pm * Ensure breakfast is set up with cereals and milk. * Post the menu daily at 10am * Cook food according to seasons i.e., light food in summer, warm food in winter. * To build good working relationships with other colleagues and all other departments. * Ensure the quality of the food items and notify chef if a product does not meet specifications.
