This is a full-time, on-site Wall And Floor Tiler role based in Bristol and the surrounding counties. The Wall And Floor Tiler will prepare work areas by measuring, marking, and setting out surfaces, ensuring substrates are clean, level, and suitable for tiling. Daily tasks include cutting, laying, and fixing wall and floor tiles in various materials and sizes, applying adhesive and grout, and achieving accurate alignment and high-quality finishes. The role involves reading and following drawings and specifications, coordinating with supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment. The Wall And Floor Tiler will also inspect completed work for quality, carry out minor repairs or adjustments, and communicate progress or issues promptly to the site manager or office.
Qualifications
- Strong practical tiling skills, including measuring, cutting, setting out, fixing, and grouting wall and floor tiles to a high standard.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and site instructions, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of different substrates, adhesives, and tile materials, and how to prepare surfaces for durable, safe installations.
