This role would suit a proactive and people-focused cybersecurity professional with a passion for threat monitoring, user engagement, and operational security.
Purpose of the role
Working closely alongsideour Cybersecurity Engineer, you will protect theorganisation’sdaily operations through proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and security awareness engagement, ensuring employees become an active line of defense.
- Key accountabilities
- Monitor, triage, investigate, andcontaindaily security alerts from EDR, SIEM, and email security platforms.
- Coordinate rapid response activities for low-to-mid tier threats and incidents.
- Manage and scale theorganisation’s Security Awareness and Phishing Simulationprogramme.
- Curate targeted awareness content and micro-learning based on departmental risk profiles.
- Execute phishing simulations andanalyseuser risk metrics.
- Conduct monthly vulnerability assessments and support patch remediation activities.
- Serve asoperationalrecorder and process validator during disaster recovery exercises.
- Maintaincontinuity documentation and update operational playbooks.
- Act as a key point of contact for employeesregardingcybersecurity awareness and best practice
