CABI has a new and exciting opportunity for a biopesticide technician to work on fungal biopesticide studies, including insect efficacy testing, as well as supporting data inputting for the CABI BioProtection Portal.
Responsibilities
- Work on the characterisation of fungal microbes.
- Conduct insect efficacy testing and related laboratory activities.
- Perform general laboratory work in a clean and safe environment.
- Input data for the CABI BioProtection Portal and other project records.
- Follow established protocols with attention to detail and maintain compliance with laboratory health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Early career scientist with a focus on lab-based work.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols.
- Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety practices.
- Ability to work with live insects.
