We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to contribute to our growing company based in the heart of Bristol. We have a fantastic proposition, and are ready to find the perfect person to help bring this to more companies across the South West.
In this role, you’ll use platforms like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and data-led insights to generate leads, build relationships, and book appointments across multiple channels including phone, email, and LinkedIn.
You will need to have an innate desire to succeed, be extremely motivated and resilient. We’re after someone commercially aware, curious about technology sales, and comfortable speaking with decision-makers.
The role will mean you’re the first point of contact in the sales process, and responsible for building relationships with prospects to book qualified discovery calls for the wider sales team.

bzb IT has been on a growth journey, and we’re looking to accelerate this forward having built a market leading technical proposition. We now want to offer more IT services, to more like-minded companies. To achieve this, we’re building a specialist lead-generation team to improve the qualification of prospect companies that would be interested in our services. This role is key to fuelling our future growth, and pivotal to our success.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospects companies
- Conduct outbound outreach (predominantly calls) with a value-led approach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs, readiness, challenges and budget
- Confidently articulate the value our service offers, matching with their needs
- Schedule and book appointments for our sales team
- Maintain accurate notes and statuses in the CRM
- Hit daily and weekly targets for calls, follow-ups, and bookings
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead quality
Key Performance Indicators
Your key performance indicators will be based on:
- Outbound touchpoints (calls/emails/LinkedIn)
- Meetings booked and attended
- Opportunities created
- CRM compliance
A bit about you
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
- Highly organised and comfortable working to activity-based KPIs
- Positive, resilient, and eager to learn
- Comfortable with basic CRM tools
- Experience in the IT or Tech sector
- Knowledge of Microsoft software
- Background in booking appointments for a field or sales team
- £24,250 to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Achievable year 1 OTE £35,000
- Excellent commission structure (based on qualified leads & appointment metrics)
- Full training provided on products, systems, and sales approach
- 25 days holiday excluding Bank Holidays
- Regular training/coaching
