Bywater|London WC2 (hybrid, at least three days a week in the office)|£32,000 to £36,000 + discretionary bonus
2027 is the year Bywater goes from a promising name to a recognised leader in low‑carbon, MMC‑led development and investment. We are looking for the person who helps make that happen in public.
Bywater is a UK property developer and investment manager focused on Modern Methods of Construction and mass timber, backed by Sumitomo Forestry. Much of our next chapter will play out on LinkedIn, on conference floors and in the rooms where investors decide who to back.
As our first in-house Marketing Coordinator, you will be Bywater’s voice from inside the business every day. You will run our social media and content, coordinate our 2027 conference and events programme, and work alongside our leadership, investment and development teams so that visibility turns into conversations, and conversations turn into pipeline.
What you will be doing
- Social media and content (around 45%). Running our LinkedIn and Instagram, finding stories on site and with our project and investment teams, and creating copy, photography and short‑form video. You will also help our CEO, Chairman and senior leaders build their LinkedIn presence, drafting posts for their approval and coordinating engagement.
- Conferences, events and memberships (around 30%). Supporting our 2027 conference programme, including MIPIM, UKREiiF, INREV and Room 151: logistics, delegate briefs, live coverage and follow‑up. You will help deliver Bywater-hosted events such as our flagship UKREiiF dinner, and make sure we get real value from our industry memberships.
- Investor and business development support (around 15%). Producing investor briefs and messaging, keeping our relationship tracker current, flagging warm leads using tools such as Leadinfo, and supporting our profile in growth regions such as Manchester.
- Wider marketing (around 10%). Supporting campaigns, brand and PR with our agencies, and producing materials for our schemes.
What you will bring
- Experience running brand social channels (LinkedIn essential), including creating your own content: copy, photography and short‑form video.
- Experience coordinating events or conferences end to end, from logistics to guest management and suppliers.
- Excellent writing, with the ability to adapt your tone for investors, policymakers, partners and residents, and to write in someone else’s voice.
- Confidence working directly with senior leaders, with sound judgement and discretion around commercially sensitive information.
- Strong organisation, and the ability to manage a busy calendar with peaks around major conferences.
- It would be a bonus if you have an interest in UK property or real estate investment, experience with CRM, scheduling or analytics tools, design or video editing skills, or experience of investor relations, PR or industry memberships.
What we offer
- £32,000 to £36,000, plus a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
- Private healthcare (BUPA) and a BUPA dental plan.
- Life assurance at four times salary and group income protection.
- A training budget and support towards a CIM qualification.
- A place at some of the most important events in the UK real estate calendar.
- Hybrid working, with at least three days a week in our office in Chancery Lane.
