This position supports the Europe North Area Presidency in its mission to invite all God’s children to follow Jesus Christ, in part through the creation of high-quality digital and print materials. We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join the Communications team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension up to 12 months. This role contributes to the development of visual content across multiple countries, languages, and platforms. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working within structured processes and established global brand guidelines. This is a hands-on production role, requiring both creative judgment and strong technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce a wide range of materials for print and digital, including:
- Banners, posters, and signage
- Brochures and flyers
- Social media and web assets
- Merchandise and branded materials
- PowerPoint presentations
- Long-form and publication design (e.g. booklets, magazines)
- Work across a variety of formats and outputs, ensuring consistency and high quality
- Use Adobe InDesign as a core production tool, ensuring compatibility with internal translation and review workflows
- Adapt global materials to resonate with local audiences across multiple countries and languages
- Ensure all work aligns with established global brand and style guidelines
- Take ownership of projects from brief to final delivery with minimal supervision
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback accurately and efficiently
- Prepare files for both print and digital delivery, ensuring accuracy in:
- Colour profiles
- Formats and sizing
- Production specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proven experience at a senior graphic designer level, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across print and digital formats
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe InDesign (essential – core to production workflows)
- Adobe Illustrator
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- Strong ability to design effectively across multiple formats and outputs
- Experience working within strict brand and style guidelines
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when working across multiple languages
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Strong understanding of print and digital production requirements
- Solid knowledge of:
- Colour profiles and file preparation
- Technical specifications for diverse outputs
- Ability to deliver high-quality design work independently, without reliance on AI-generated outputs
- Experience designing for multilingual or international audiences
- Experience in video editing or motion graphics is a plus
- Experience working within structured approval and review workflows
