Reporting to the Development Manager, the successful candidate will join our highly skilled aviation Development Team working on our cutting-edge flight data management software, skybook. We are looking for someone who is experienced as a Fullstack Software Developer with a minimum of three years of commercial experience.
Responsibilities and Duties- You will be working within the aviation software development team and be involved in the development of our award-winning, flagship software, skybook.
- Working on our web applications; PHP back-end / TypeScript front-end (React, CSS3).
- Working on our aviation service using NodeJS (TypeScript).
- Being part of our development roadmap team, developing new modules for our software.
- Improving the performance across our web applications.
- Work towards being part of the Out of Hours on-call rotation.
- Experience with NodeJS (Express, Redis, AWS services).
- Must be organized, able to work to deadlines and complete any learning and development as required.
- Maintain a good level of awareness of the industry and trends, particularly regarding development.
- Keep abreast of usability standards and emerging technologies.
- Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
- Must have meticulous attention to detail.
Starting base salary: £36,000 to £45,000 (Depending on qualifications and industry experience). 25 days annual leave, increasing with service, plus public bank holidays. Bonus scheme after 12 months of service. Life Assurance (4 x salary). £50 on-call support payment per day.
