About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on NetSuite Platform Engineer to support the go-live and ongoing running of our Oracle NetSuite platform. This role is about building real depth. You’ll be working on a live, business-critical system, learning how it operates end-to-end, and gradually taking on more ownership as the platform evolves. You’ll work alongside an experienced Finance ERP Platform Owner and Solution Architect, with clear direction and support, while being trusted to get things done.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support go-live and early stabilisation by working closely with Finance and project teams during UAT, helping validate data, track issues, and ensure the system is ready for day one.
- Act as a reliable point of contact during hypercare, triaging issues, working with the right teams to resolve them, and keeping critical finance processes such as billing and invoicing running smoothly.
- Take ownership of day-to-day NetSuite administration as the platform settles, including managing users, roles, and permissions, and maintaining workflows, reports, and saved searches.
- Provide hands-on support to Finance and Operations teams, helping them use the system effectively while ensuring data remains accurate and the platform stays stable.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements by configuring changes across forms, fields, and workflows, and delivering smaller enhancements that make a practical difference to users.
- Support controlled change into Production, following agreed approval, testing, and documentation processes to protect live finance operations.
- Build an understanding of how NetSuite connects with surrounding systems such as CRM and quoting tools, and support basic troubleshooting of integration issues and data flows over time.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ve worked with NetSuite before and are comfortable navigating the platform.
- You understand how core processes like order-to-cash work, and you’ve supported system changes, UAT, or go-live activity.
- You don’t need to know everything. What matters is that you’re reliable, curious, and willing to take ownership of your work.
- If you’ve had exposure to scripting, integrations, or SaaS environments, that’s a bonus, not a requirement.
- Familiarity with ITIL-style incident or change concepts (no certification needed).
- Comfortable working with imperfect systems during early life.
How you work:
- You take responsibility and follow things through.
- You ask questions and learn quickly.
- You’re comfortable working with both business users and technical teams.
- You care about getting things right, not just getting them done.
- You create high‑quality documentation that ensures clarity and avoids rework or repetition.
Why join us:
- You’ll work on a platform that genuinely matters to the business.
- You’ll gain end-to-end NetSuite experience, not just ticket-based support.
- You’ll have access to experienced leaders who will guide and stretch you.
- You’ll have room to grow as the platform and team evolve.
