PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support the Cloud Implementation team in the delivery of Professional Services for our customers. Initially this will be working on migrations into Azure, the creation of Landing Zones, and Azure Virtual Desktop. However, you will also be involved with application modernization projects to move customers away from virtual machines and onto platform native tooling. The successful candidate must have solid experience in all of the above areas to be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the delivery of projects from pre-sales scoping to project planning and implementation
- Engage with the Service Delivery team to collaborate on future services that we can deliver to customers
- Designing and documenting customer solutions
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivery of migrations into Azure using various migration methods and tooling
- Azure Virtual Desktop migrations and/or customer workshops
- Design and implementation of Azure Landing Zones
- Creation of IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) templates for deploying workloads
- Delivery of application modernisation projects (Azure PaaS and containerisation)
- Delivery of Azure VMware Solution deployments

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Professional Qualifications: Solutions Architect Expert certification status (DESIRABLE)
- Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification (DESIRABLE)
- 3+ years working with production workloads in Azure (ESSENTIAL)
- Experience delivering workshops and/or training to colleagues or customers (ESSENTIAL)
- Production experience with M365 (particularly around security with MS-500) (DESIRABLE)
- DevOps Expert certification status (DESIRABLE)
- Scripting such as PowerShell or Python (DESIRABLE)
CORE Competencies & SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of Azure service offerings and products
- Practical knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server
- Good knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, OSI, and VPNs
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc
- Experience of Project Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Boards etc
- Good experience with ARM, Terraform, or Bicep for writing IaC
- Good working knowledge of Azure Migration tools such as Azure Migrate Assessment, Data Migration Assessment (DMA), SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), Azure Migrate Server Migration, Database Migration Service, Storage Migration Service
- Experience with migrating and scaling Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix
- Delivery of Azure VMware Solutions deployments
