We\’re the UK’s leading Microsoft partner – we want to shape the future of cloud security. Our Microsoft practice is one of the most advanced in the UK, and we’re looking for a Microsoft Cloud Security Specialist to accelerate growth in this critical area.
This is a sales overlay role – you’ll work alongside our account teams to position, differentiate and close opportunities across Microsoft’s security portfolio, including Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra, Purview and Defender for Cloud . You’ll be the subject matter expert who turns complex security challenges into clear business outcomes, and you’ll lead the charge in selling our Microsoft Security Managed Service , including managed SOC.
What you’ll do
- Drive Microsoft Security sales by supporting account teams in identifying and closing opportunities
- Deliver technical presentations, demos and workshops that showcase Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Purview and more
- Translate customer requirements into secure, scalable architectures using Microsoft technologies
- Position and onboard customers into Bytes’ Microsoft Security Managed Service, influencing service development
- Work closely with Microsoft account teams and align with FY26 solution plays and partner incentives
- Train internal teams, create playbooks and share insights that strengthen Bytes’ Microsoft security capability
What we’re looking for
- Sales Overlay Expertise: Proven experience supporting sales teams to position and close complex technology solutions
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify opportunities, influence buying decisions and accelerate deal velocity
- Microsoft Security Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud and Purview
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, SIEM/SOAR and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments
- Microsoft certifications: SC-900 essential; SC-100 and AZ-900 desirable
- Ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value
