Mission

This role exists to deliver high-quality Microsoft Security consultancy and implementation services that help customers secure their users, devices, identities, applications and data. From discovery and design through to hands-on deployment and optimisation, you will play a key role in delivering robust, practical and scalable security solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Working closely with pre-sales, delivery teams and customers, you will contribute to a growing portfolio of security projects while helping shape and evolve our Microsoft Security service offerings.

What you will deliver within the role
  • You will design and implement Microsoft Security solutions across technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID and Purview.
  • You will deliver security assessments, workshops and remediation activities aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
  • You will support customers with identity and access management projects, including Conditional Access, MFA and Zero Trust initiatives.
  • You will deploy and configure Microsoft Defender technologies to improve endpoint, cloud, identity and email security.
  • You will implement and optimise Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and SOAR solutions, including analytics rules, automation and monitoring.
  • You will support customers in strengthening compliance, governance and data protection capabilities using Microsoft Purview.
  • You will contribute to incident response and security improvement initiatives where required.
  • You will participate in project scoping, planning and technical design activities, working collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • You will produce high-quality technical documentation aligned to customer and delivery standards.
  • You will collaborate across sales, delivery and support teams to enhance services and strengthen internal security capability.
Proven experience

Delivering Microsoft Security solutions within enterprise or customer-facing environments (typically 3+ years). Strong understanding of Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Sentinel and Entra ID. Experience implementing identity, endpoint, email and cloud security solutions. Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks including Zero Trust principles. Experience working with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and security monitoring concepts. Understanding of compliance, governance and data protection technologies. Experience designing, documenting and implementing technical security solutions. Confidence working directly with customers, facilitating workshops and communicating technical concepts clearly. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
