Azure Onboarding Specialist in Leatherhead

Cloud adoption continues to accelerate, and organisations increasingly rely on Azure to support critical business operations, digital transformation initiatives and future growth. As customers transition their Azure environments to the Bytes Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme, a smooth and well-managed onboarding experience is essential to ensuring continuity, minimising risk and delivering long-term value.

This role is about much more than administration. It is an opportunity to become a trusted advisor during a critical stage of the customer journey, coordinating stakeholders, managing technical onboarding activities and ensuring Azure subscriptions are successfully transitioned into the Bytes CSP programme without disruption to existing services.

Mission

This role exists to deliver a consistent, controlled and high-quality Azure onboarding experience for customers moving their Azure estates to the Bytes CSP programme. Acting as the primary point of contact throughout each engagement, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding journey from initial assessment and readiness validation through to transfer completion, documentation and operational handover.

Working closely with customers, Microsoft, Azure specialists, consultants, sales teams and operational stakeholders, you will ensure Azure subscription transfers are delivered successfully whilst protecting existing customer environments and maintaining excellent service throughout the process.

What You Will Deliver Within The Role

• You will own Azure CSP onboarding engagements from internal handover through to successful customer acceptance and operational completion.
• You will lead customer kick-off meetings and act as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process.
• You will assess Azure subscriptions and tenant environments to determine CSP transfer eligibility and readiness.
• You will validate technical, commercial, billing and access prerequisites before transfer activity begins.
• You will plan, coordinate and execute Azure subscription transfers from EA, MCA-E, MCA-I and PAYG environments into the Bytes CSP programme.
• You will identify onboarding risks, technical constraints and transfer dependencies, driving remediation activities where required.
• You will coordinate activity between customers, Microsoft, partners and internal Bytes teams to ensure successful delivery.
• You will ensure existing Azure resources and configurations remain protected throughout the transfer process.
• You will maintain accurate documentation, governance records, audit trails and customer communications throughout each engagement.
• You will complete post-transfer validation, customer handover and formal acceptance activities to ensure a successful transition into service.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure subscriptions, Microsoft Entra ID tenants and Azure access management.
• Experience delivering customer-facing onboarding, service transition, implementation or cloud operations projects.
• Understanding of Azure commercial and billing models, including CSP, EA, MCA-E, MCA-I and PAYG environments.
• Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding activities.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail when managing customer onboarding processes.
• Experience validating permissions, access requirements, subscriptions and cloud service dependencies.
• Ability to identify risks, manage issues and coordinate remediation activity to support successful outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively with internal technical teams, customers, Microsoft and third-party stakeholders.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900 or AZ-104 would be beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Partner Center and Azure CSP onboarding processes would be highly advantageous.
