The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with proven experience selling Managed IT Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone who understands the MSP sales process, has an existing network, and can hit the ground running.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a motivated sales professional with MSP experience or similar who thrives on winning new business. You understand the MSP market, know how to open doors, and are confident presenting value-driven solutions to business decision-makers. You are proactive, professional, and hungry to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the SME and mid-market sectors
  • Sell Managed IT Services, IT Support, Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions, and related services
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and partner relationships
  • Attend client meetings (virtual and in person) to present solutions and proposals
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored solutions
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
  • Represent the company professionally at events and client meetings

Minimum 18 months proven experience selling Managed IT Services (MSP)

Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Strong understanding of MSP offerings, including:

  • IT Support and Helpdesk
  • Microsoft 365
  • Cloud solutions (Azure preferred)
  • Cybersecurity services
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery

Ability to generate new business through proactive prospecting

Experience managing the full sales cycle

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently

Professional, credible, and consultative sales approach

Clean Driving Licence
