About The Client: Our client is delivering a large-scale digital transformation programme within the UK transport sector, focused on consolidating multiple customer-facing platforms into a single, unified digital experience. The programme brings together multiple stakeholders across the industry to modernise ticketing, improve user experience, and enable faster innovation across digital channels.

About The Role: Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a large-scale digital transformation programme within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The role will focus on programme coordination, governance support, stakeholder communications, and delivery planning across a major customer-facing digital initiative. You will work closely with programme leadership and communications teams to support governance activities, maintain stakeholder engagement, and assist with planning and funding activities as the programme progresses through key delivery stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Coordination: Support day-to-day programme management activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Governance Support: Assist with maintaining governance plans, reporting processes, and programme documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communications: Coordinate communications and engagement activities across internal teams, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Communications Planning: Support ownership and delivery of programme communications planning in collaboration with internal communications teams.
  • Funding & Planning Support: Assist with investment case preparation, planning activities, and documentation for future programme phases.
  • Delivery Support: Help ensure alignment across programme activities, milestones, dependencies, and deadlines.

Essential Experience

  • Experience supporting programmes or projects within complex delivery environments.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining governance documentation, reporting, or planning activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and programme workstreams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within rail, transport, or digital retail/ticketing environments.
  • Familiarity with online retail, ticketing, or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Understanding of UK rail digital systems or ticket issuing environments.
  • Experience supporting public sector, regulated, or large-scale transformation programmes.
