Senior Program Manager, EMEA Moderation, TikTok Shop

Responsibilities

• Utilize quality management tools to strategically enhance policies through providing policy implementation feedback and minimizing moderation policy inefficiencies.
• Develop quality assessment frameworks, map moderation rules and guidelines, and implement improvement plans to meet moderation quality metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., policy teams) and develop quality inspection standards to continuously optimize and refine policies, processes, and platforms.
• Collaborate with the BPO Quality Assurance Team to ensure a high quality standard of moderation delivery.
• Work closely with leaders, local partner operations, training, and SOP teams to enhance moderation policies by identifying quality and product risks.
• Validate and implement rejection labels, grant whitelists, or revoke penalties stemming from erroneous human or machine moderation.
• Initiate, lead, and guide medium to large‑scale projects, pilot implementation of new platforms and tool functionalities aimed at enhancing moderation efficiency and quality.
• Participate in large scale projects aimed at identifying shortcomings or opportunities, and provide business requirements (BRDs) from a moderation quality viewpoint.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s Degree in business administration, project management, or policy‑related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management functions.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce compliance requirements and internet governance management, with a certain level of business sensitivity and risk awareness.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated with a track record in stakeholder management, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master\’s degree in business administration or policy‑related fields.
• Experience in E‑Commerce or marketplace platforms.
• Ability to effectively engage with leadership, facilitate discussions about complex topics, influence, and reach agreements.
• Experience in program management and the ability to manage large, complex programs and drive change.
• Track record in crafting and operationalising moderation guidelines in the tech industry.
