We are looking for an experienced Network Engineering Manager to lead and grow our EMEA network engineering team. You will own the planning, design, deployment, and operations of our network infrastructure across data centers, backbone, internet, and cloud environments. This position blends strategic vision, people management, and hands-on technical expertise to ensure network reliability, scalability, and performance at hyperscale. You will guide a team of 10+ engineers, drive architectural improvements, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and maintain operational excellence across all network systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 10+ network engineers.
- Define and execute a network strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the design and deployment of network solutions across multiple domains: data center, backbone, internet, cloud and OTN.
- Drive cross-functional projects, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Establish, enforce, and continuously improve network standards, and best practices.
- Provide actionable insights and regular reporting to senior leadership on network performance, risks, and initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience managing and leading network engineering teams in hyperscale environments.
- Strong technical expertise in large-scale network infrastructures with hands-on experience, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, Public Cloud, and related technologies.
- Deep understanding of network monitoring, performance management, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English is required to collaborate with global partners, including Engineering teams based in Mandarin-speaking regions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience working in or supporting hyperscale cloud providers or large global data center environments.
