Responsibilities

- About the Role: This role is part of the Global Employee Relations (ER) team and functions as a middle platform connecting company leadership, business teams, and legal/compliance teams. It supports non-China markets in employee relations matters by leveraging employment law expertise to optimize processes and ensure compliance. Ideal for candidates with a legal background interested in transitioning to ER work.
- Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the optimization of Bullying, Harassment, Discrimination & Retaliation (BHDR) investigation processes with legal compliance insights;
- Provide guidance for employee dispute resolution strategy globally and support employee disputes involving senior leaders from HR\’s perspective;
- Develop and refine ER case risk management frameworks to ensure consistent and compliant decision-making;
- Provide risk management support for ER compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with global employment laws, company policies, public policies, etc;
- Assess the applicability of non-compete agreements in global (non-China) markets and develop enforcement strategies;
- Support the development and implementation of cross-cultural compliance training.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree and above in Law/HR or equivalent;
- 5+ years relevant working experience;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach issues through comparative analysis;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and programs simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of labour/employment law;
- Experience of Employee Relations and Employment/Workplace Investigation will be highly advantageous;
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment;
- Proactive and action-oriented, with the flexibility to adapt to a fast-growing and evolving environment;
- Experience working in a multinational environment, with the openness to and appreciation for diverse perspectives and ways of thinking;
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build trust across diverse business functions;
- Growth mindset with a strong interest in transitioning from legal advisory to business-embedded employee relations work;
- Open to travel and comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across different time zones.
