Responsibilities
- ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the European region.
- Our work involves data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc.
- Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth.
- The Global Delivery Management team is mainly responsible for site selection, acquisition, and project delivery.
- End to End project management of data center delivery including cross-functional team collaboration.
- Management of data center providers for green field project.
- Electrical & Telecom Fitout work of the data hall.
- Localization of data center standards including design & quality of execution.
- Support site selection related task in EU region.
- Support technical review for data center infrastructure.
- Work closely with the design team for the optimization of data hall standards.
- Support local operation team for post handover defect rectification.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar field and/or relevant experience in project delivery for a minimum 50 MW project.
- Familiar with data center building standards & authority requirements in EU region; especially in Norway & Finland.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good relations with local electrical & telecom fit-out contractor will be a plus.
- Good relations with local telecommunication authorities & carriers will be a plus.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer will be a plus.
