Byte9 is seeking an experienced front‑end JavaScript developer. We are a leading agile web‑development company based in London, expanding our team to work on new projects, digital pivots, and innovative developments for our core Blaze product, now open source. We specialise in feature‑rich web applications, headless content management with natural language processing tools, and bespoke client web and mobile application development. Our clients range from start‑ups to blue chips. We provide beautiful, innovative and performant systems that meet evolving stakeholder requirements using mature agile development processes and best‑practice tooling.
Your primary responsibilities include supporting design and development teams in producing front‑end code for sophisticated, performant and scalable projects. A keen eye for cutting‑edge design, interface development, performance management, tooling, usability and system ergonomics is essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a pair/full stack application team. Additionally, you will share experience, impart knowledge and mentor across the front‑end team, and collaborate across the organization to ensure best practice in product development.
