The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Mostly remote working for referrals with occasional clinics for minibus medicals and Hep B vaccines. The nurse needs to have a current NMC pin and be on the nursing register with relevant OH experience. They will potentially be required to visit day centres or schools to deliver Hep B vaccines or run a clinic from OHU in Sutton in Ashfield for these and driver medicals.
Predominantly the work will be case management to assist with backlogs due to sickness absence, to support a reduction in waiting times and prolonged sickness absence within the organisation and those organisations we support. Working primarily from home with some occasional visits to sites across the county of Nottinghamshire, so will need access to a car and a clean driving licence and hold business insurance.
The main Occupational Health department is based at Byron House (NG17 4NX), though this is mostly used by one OHP delivering face to face medicals with OHA visits for occasional clinics. The purpose of this role is to support the Occupational Health team during sickness absences with various duties, including, but not limited to:
- Management referrals, so must be adept at writing professional OH reports
- Pre-placement triage and medicals
- Driver medicals
- Support sickness absence backlogs and reduce waiting times through case management
- Deliver Hep B vaccinations where required and visit day centres or schools as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 3 years Occupational Health management referral reporting experience
- Ideally local government OH experience or experience in a unionised environment
- Current vaccination certificate and background of delivering Hepatitis B with knowledge of any Green Book changes
- Experience delivering driver medicals to vocational and professional drivers
