An urgent requirement exists to join our Redhill based client as their new Financial Controller. Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you will be available on a short notice period, and will join the business to be responsible for a small team, overseeing and assisting in the preparation of the management accounts, companies financial statements, consolidations and all month / year end duties. You will enjoy a hands on busy role encompassing financial control coupled with cash management, reporting into the Head of Finance, assisting them with ensuring the smooth running of the finance function. This opportunity is office based, 5 days a week, and you must be able to demonstrate a stable career history to date. This is an excellent opportunity to adapt existing skills and grow within a highly professional, successful and supportive company.
Duties
- Responsible for the daily cash flow operations
- Assisting with management information and helping with identifying and recommending improvements to finance processes
- Responsible for the treasury activities, including investing surplus funds and protecting foreign exchange risk
- Assist the Head of Finance in representing the finance function to the board members and stakeholders
- Any additional ad hoc duties that arise
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA - Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Extensive Cash Management experience
- Extensive multi-currency experience
