An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time (27 hours per week) Medical Receptionist to join our team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive reception/admin service to our practice population. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a GP surgery but training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake reception and telephone duties, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
  • Process repeat prescriptions
  • Perform various administration duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice
  • Use SystmOne clinical system

We are a friendly, well-organised 3-Partner Teaching Practice serving around 8,500 patients. We are also part of 5 practices that make up the North Easington Primary Care Network, which has an excellent track record for collaboration, care and support.

Working Hours:

The post is for 27 hours per week to be worked over three days. Hours of work will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am to 6pm. There is potential for one additional day on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The post-holder will be required to cover extended hours on a Monday evening until 8pm on a rota basis.
