Responsibilities
- Supporting the Finance Manager with monthly reporting for the UK and also the various European offices
- Assisting with the year-end audit process
- Supporting the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function
- Posting and allocating cash receipts accurately and promptly
- Releasing sales orders in line with credit control guidelines to support the sales team
- Entering purchase invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time
- Assisting with the monthly payment runs to Group companies and third parties, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Supporting the team with processing travel and expense claims
- Reconciling company credit cards
- Processing expense payments and assisting with monthly expense reporting
- Assisting with the reconciliation of recharge accounts
- Assisting with bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by the Manager or the Company
Qualifications / Requirements
- A minimum of 18 months previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable working with ERP systems (experience with Sage X3 advantageous)
- Either be AAT Qualified or an early stage ACCA / CIMA stage student
