In your role as a General Manager, the buck stops with you on the performance of your restaurant. You are responsible for the daily operations of your restaurant and team. We want you to meet all those KPIs we always talk about (Stock & Waste Management, Team Development, Labour, Conversion, SLC and Guest Feedback) while creating a positive working environment, where guest experience is consistently brilliant and making sure your team and restaurant are safe.
Here’s what’s important to us at Byron: You need to achieve commercial success by driving top line sales while controlling profit, through a productive and engaged team. You must be able to think ahead to anticipate and pre-empt financial risk by reacting to short-term and long-term business needs. Have need to know your KPI numbers on the tip of your tongue; sales, COS, labour, team turnover, GRI & conversion. You need to keep energy up when under pressure ensuring the team are Doing It Properly. You must be able to challenge the norm in a respectful way and speak up to improve what Byron does and how we work while at the same time responding well when you’re challenged by others. You need to be able to adjust your style and ways of working depending on the situation. Remain nimble at all times.
