Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team in Sevenoaks. As an essential member of their small accounting department, the Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in accounts payable and receivables to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment.
Reporting to the Commercial Financial Controller, the successful candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks and support the financial operations of the company. An attractive salary is on offer dependent on your level of experience. Your daily duties will consist of:
- Assisting with the accounts payable and receivable process
- Coding, authorising, and booking purchase invoices
- Conduct monthly credit control duties
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and timely
- Support other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Basic understanding of accounting principles and good MS Office experience are required.
