We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our growing firm, responsible for managing an increased volume of clients and projects, tax plans, reports, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of challenging and complex federal and state tax returns and final review of tax projects for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations.
- Managing an increased number of clients and projects.
- Hiring and supervising professional staff.
- Setting clear deadlines and priorities with direct reports.
- Coaching and developing direct reports.
- Building and implementing new ideas for process improvement.
- Delivering comprehensive, long-term tax strategies and consulting services.
- Participating in the proposal process for potential new clients.
- Accurately scoping new projects and constructing fee estimates/budgets.
- Maintaining positive client relationships by providing timely and unmatched client service.
- Assisting in the development of others by teaching critical information/skills.
- Promoting firm services to existing and prospective clients.
- Navigating various software programs and tools used by the firm.
