We also have many years' experience carrying out complex numerical analyses and doing back analysis and investigation work.

We have an opportunity for a Senior to Associate Structural Engineer to take a leading role in the delivery of bridges and other major permanent and temporary structures principally in the rail and highway sectors in our Manchester office. A high proportion of the role will be focused on developing design solutions for aged rail assets, principally bridges. The role involves technical delivery, project management, client liaison and business management. Knowledge and experience of masonry, concrete and steel bridge design is an advantage.
Qualifications
- A degree (minimum 2:1) in civil engineering or a related discipline
- 8-15 years' structural design experience, of which a considerable amount needs to be in the UK.
- Bridge design experience in the rail and/or highway sectors
- Experience of site reconnaissance, hazard and defect identification, planning and supervising intrusive investigations
- Has achieved Chartered status with a relevant professional body
