We are a leading concrete frame subcontractor specialising in delivering high-quality, innovative construction projects in the UK. This role exists for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the management of commercial aspects of our projects, with support from your Commercial Manager or Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the Commercial Manager in all aspects of the role;
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project scopes;
- Preparation, submission and negotiation of interim valuations, variations and final accounts;
- Ensuring compliance with contract conditions (e.g. JCT, NEC) and company commercial procedures;
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and supplier packages;
- Cost reporting and financial forecasting;
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with Client and Project Team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree Qualified;
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry with 4+ years of experience.
