As we scale, we're looking for driven and self-motivated individuals to join us as Freelance Business Development Managers and help us grow our client base.
Role Overview:
This is a commission-only freelance role, ideal for a confident, well-connected sales professional with a passion for diversity and inclusion. You will be responsible for sourcing your own leads, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals with companies that want to work with BYP Network. You'll earn a generous commission on every successful partnership or deal closed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential client organizations aligned with BYP's mission
- Source and manage your own leads and opportunities
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals
- Close new business deals independently and negotiate partnership terms
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, pipeline activity, and conversions
- Occasionally represent BYP Network at events and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with the core team to ensure a smooth handover of accounts
Requirements:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development
- Experience closing deals with senior decision-makers in HR, DEI, or marketing
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
- Access to own network of potential leads is highly desirable
- Comfortable working on a commission-only basis
