About the Role

The Investor Relations Manager will support the Head of Investor Relations in strengthening and evolving Convatec’s relationships with investors, analysts and other key stakeholders. The role plays a critical part in shaping and communicating the company’s investment case, ensuring clear, consistent and high‑quality financial and strategic communications, and providing insightful analysis of market trends, peer performance and investor sentiment to senior leadership. This is a high‑exposure role with regular interaction with the CEO, CFO and wider Executive Leadership Team, offering the opportunity to take increasing ownership of investor and analyst engagement over time.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations Responsibilities:
    • Support the evolution of Convatec’s equity story, investment case and strategic narrative.
    • Contribute to the development and production of core IR materials, including:
      • Financial results and presentations
      • Annual and interim reports
      • Press releases and investor communications
      • Investor Relations website content
    • Collect internal financial and operational insights and draft investor Q&A materials.
    • Maintain and manage the analyst consensus model and related analysis.
    • Conduct investor targeting analysis and support the organisation of roadshows and investor events.
    • Support and increasingly lead interactions with investors and analysts, with the expectation of chairing meetings independently within approximately 12 months.
    • Manage and optimise use of the Investor CRM platform.
    • Monitor and analyse competitor results, industry developments and market newsflow.
    • Analyse sector data and external benchmarks, sharing relevant insights with senior management.
  • Communications & Corporate Reporting:
    • Review and quality‑check all financial and IR‑related communications.
    • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the corporate and IR websites, including:
      • Analytics review
      • Identification and execution of improvements
    • Act as a point of contact for the PR agency on IR‑related queries when the Head of Investor Relations is unavailable.
    • Leverage internal networks across Finance, Strategy and the business to identify and develop content relevant to investors and other stakeholders.

About You

  • Experience & Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
    • Professional qualification preferred (e.g. CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
    • Proven experience in Investor Relations, financial analysis, equity research, corporate finance or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, reporting requirements and regulatory frameworks for listed companies.
  • Skills & Capabilities:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic information clearly and credibly.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial, operational and market data.
    • High attention to detail and strong quality mindset.
    • Confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and professionally.
    • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
    • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with investors, analysts and internal stakeholders.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience using Copilot and financial systems or IR platforms is an advantage.
    • Self‑motivated, proactive and hands‑on, with a “can‑do” mindset.

Working Conditions

Typically 2-3 days in the office, with hybrid working. Internal: Head of Investor Relations, CEO / CFO, CELT, Business Unit leadership teams, Finance leadership, Corporate Comms team and Marketing Centre of Excellence team.
