JOB TITLE: SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
LOCATION: GLASGOW, SCOTLAND
We're seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the creation of bold, strategic design work that inspires and informs. You will own projects from concept through to execution, mentor junior talent, and bring a strong creative voice to help shape how our brand shows up across digital, packaging, and campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead creative work across packaging design, in-store visuals, and marketing activations that inspire, disrupt, and connect with our audience — IRL and online.
- Champion design excellence with a sharp eye for detail and originality, pushing creative boundaries while staying aligned to our brand DNA.
- Be a beauty insider understanding the nuances of premium, Gen Z-driven design within the ever evolving skincare and beauty landscape.
- Mentor and support junior designers. Providing clear guidance, creative direction, and thoughtful feedback that helps shape their growth and confidence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Innovation, Marketing, Product, and Retail teams to bring brand stories to life across touch points, from shelf to social.
- Present and pitch ideas with clarity and confidence, articulating your rationale and vision to stakeholders, from concept to final execution.
- Deliver impactful design systems that flex across formats, especially packaging hierarchies, shelf impact visuals, and activation toolkits.
- Support digital where needed, particularly if you have UX/UI knowledge to feed into website or content experiences, though this isn’t the primary focus.
- Proactively bring new ideas, techniques, and tools into the creative workflow.
- Be a brand guardian, ensuring all design output is consistent, distinctive, and delivers best-in-class beauty branding across every touchpoint.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years’ experience in branding, packaging, visual merchandising and/or digital design, ideally within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle space.
- Portfolio that showcases experience and creativity.
- Strong conceptual thinker, natural flair for storytelling and brand identity.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); knowledge of Figma or XD is a bonus.
- Experienced in packaging design, including hierarchy, shelf impact, sustainability considerations, and print processes.
- Experience designing for physical retail (visual merchandising, point-of-sale, campaign activations) with an eye for creating immersive and impactful visuals.
- A sharp, disruptive design aesthetic, with good knowledge of the tone, trends, and formats that resonate in beauty right now.
- Confident communicating ideas to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- You work well in fast-paced, cross-functional teams and know how to bring ideas to life with Product, Marketing, and Innovation.
- Experienced in guiding and working with junior designers
- It's an advantage if you have basic UX/UI or motion design experience, or exposure to digital tools that support website, campaign, or social content design.
