We have an opportunity for an Account Manager to join our sales team based in Glasgow, UK. This is a fast-paced, results-driven role, so we’re looking for someone who is passionate about sales, thrives on building strong partnerships, and has a proven track record of delivering growth. You’ll need to be a strategic thinker, a skilled negotiator, and a proactive problem-solver, ensuring our key retailer accounts receive best-in-class support while driving long-term success for both our brand and our partners.
The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the overall business strategy across the UK market. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will manage key accounts, oversee day-to-day customer relationships, identify opportunities to grow brand visibility, and deliver strategies to drive sales performance.
- Develop annual business plans to meet brand KPIs, identifying opportunities for growth and maximising all available opportunities to increase market share, visibility and exposure in store.
- Support the execution of the commercial strategy for the UK, contributing to annual business plans and delivering against sales growth drivers and KPIs.
- Build collaborative working relationships both externally with all accounts across the UK market, and internally with Marketing to support with appropriate activity, events and exclusives where applicable.
- Work closely with the retailer marketing teams to identify additional retail opportunities for the brand.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, supply chain and finance to align the business with achieving commercial objectives.
- Work with the retailer to ensure the optimum assortment is in place and in prime positioning to maximise sales and productivity instore.
- Oversee the Visual Merchandising process, ensuring a clear commercial brief is provided, and stay on top of all key deadlines to ensure they are met.
- Track weekly and monthly sales performance, reporting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activity and performance to provide insights to inform commercial decisions.
- Support sales forecasting processes, highlighting risks and opportunities in a timely and data-driven manner.
3+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales, or account management role, ideally within beauty; but we welcome applications from Account Managers in FMCG that are interested and passionate about beauty.
- Strong selling and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence retailer partners.
- Solid understanding of retail performance drivers and how to leverage them to improve results.
- Confident working with data to identify trends and inform decisions.
