This is a hands‑on, high-impact role for someone who's commercially sharp, comfortable in the detail of platforms and data, and wants real ownership of growth, profitability and content workstreams, not just support. You'll work across acquisition, retention, profitability and content, and act as a key link between ecommerce, brand, supply chain and retail teams.
The role
- Growth & Partnerships
- Strengthen marketplace performance across Zalando and Amazon through continuous performance monitoring and content optimisation
- Improve customer acquisition by optimising lead capture and conversion journeys, including enhanced use of the skin scan tool to attract and convert new customers
- Support planning and execution of tentpole sales events, including lead-in/lead-out campaigns to maximise impact
- Support delivery of personalised CRM experiences (via Insider) to deepen engagement and strengthen retention beyond first purchase
- Own day-to-day email marketing, campaign and lifecycle flow planning, build, and performance tracking, to drive engagement, retention and revenue
- Platform Management
- Support day-to-day running of our Shopify stores in the UK and US, site updates, merchandising, page builds, troubleshooting, and general platform maintenance
- Ensure both storefronts stay aligned with promotional calendars, NPD launches, and brand positioning updates
- Profit & Performance
- Own delivery of agreed digital sales growth targets across DTC & Zalando, reporting and analysing performance monthly at category and SKU level
- Optimise DTC promotional strategy to drive conversion and incremental revenue while protecting profitability, working closely with retail marketing
- Track retail marketing spend against budget, measuring incremental impact and ROAS, with clear recommendations for optimisation
- Monitor month-on-month conversion rate across all channels and keep merchandising updated in line with business priorities
- Support build‑out of channel-level P&L reporting (Amazon, DTC, Zalando) to inform decision‑making
- Product & Content
- Lead onsite education and content for new product launches that build trust and drive conversion
- Support existing and core SKUs through consistent optimisation and education updates
- Support rollout of updated brand positioning to strengthen education and credibility across DTC and marketplace channels
- Maintain a weekly meeting cadence with wider teams and external partners, tracking projects against business goals
- Attend industry events to stay current with trends and best practice, recording insights quarterly
- Deliver cost‑conscious campaign and channel management that contributes to margin/EBITDA improvement, working within assigned budgets
- Continuously develop your own skill set through hands‑on learning and upskilling
What we’re looking for
- 1–3 years' experience in ecommerce, with exposure to marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Zalando) and/or DTC trading
- Hands‑on experience managing or supporting a Shopify store (multi‑region a plus)
- Comfortable working with sales, traffic, and conversion data; confident in Excel.
- Experience with or strong interest in CRM/personalisation platforms (e.g. Insider), email marketing, and onsite tools (e.g. quiz/diagnostic experiences)
- Strong attention to detail, happy in the weeds of listings, content, merchandising and campaign execution
- Commercially minded: understands the link between content, media spend, conversion and margin
- A proactive self‑starter who can manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders without heavy oversight
- Experience in beauty, skincare, or FMCG is a strong plus
- Excellent written communication, able to brief content, write reporting summaries, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners
