The Copywriter will lead the creation of all brand copy, ensuring consistency and clarity across every touchpoint, from packaging and visual merchandising to press releases and product page copy. You\'ll help shape the voice of BYOMA in the beauty landscape while keeping our messaging fresh, fun, and aligned with our mission to demystify and democratize beauty and empower everyone to make smart, informed choices when it comes to their skincare.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for writing and editing engaging copy across packaging, product one pagers, marketing materials, and assisting with various communication tasks.
- Work closely with our innovation, VM, marketing, and sales teams to ensure all new product value props are clearly communicated for prospective and current customers
- Jump in on ad-hoc requests that may arise on other marketing channels
- Maintain the brand tone of voice across multiple channels, ensuring consistency in messaging while striving to push the boundaries and find new and clever ways to communicate with our customer
- Responsible for writing and editing site copy including product descriptions for web; create keyword-rich content, tag lines and product descriptions to engage customers and optimize for SEO
- Write and edit press releases that align with BYOMA\'s voice and business objectives.
- Partner closely with design, marketing, and innovation teams to ensure copy aligns with visual and strategic direction.
- Maintain and evolve BYOMA\'s tone of voice
- Stay up to date on trends in beauty, skincare, and cultural conversations relevant to our audience.
What we\'re looking for:
- 2–4 years of copywriting experience, ideally within beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating clear, engaging, and creative copy across different formats.
- A genuine passion for the beauty industry and an understanding of skincare consumers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and brand tone consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to take feedback and translate it into effective copy updates.
