Bylor are pushing the boundaries of innovation and modern technology while delivering high quality construction on a massive scale. Bylor have already broken the UK record for the largest continuous concrete pour of 9,000m3 of concrete. Purpose of the role: To support the Quality Manager (PTLS SSW) in overseeing the implementation of the quality management arrangements, measuring its effectiveness, and supporting the improvement projects required to optimise effective quality arrangements.
Key responsibilities and specific accountabilities:
- QC surveillance inspectors are required to attend site day to day completing Hold/Witness point inspections including but not limited to (in line with ITP requirements): Dimensional testing, cleanliness inspections, Visual testing, Penetrant testing, MPI Testing, UT/PAUT testing.
- Inspectors are expected to complete reports thoroughly and competently ensuring all requirements are met.
- Industry standards are to be always followed ensuring the final quality of the product.
- From time-to-time inspectors will have to enter confined spaces wearing RPE masks.
