Organisation Information: Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O’Rourke, two of Europe’s most dynamic engineering and construction specialists, are working together in a joint venture named BYLOR to deliver the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC) worth over £2.8 billion. Bylor are pushing the boundaries of innovation and modern technology while delivering high quality construction on a massive scale.

Purpose of the role: Highly skilled and experienced Records Professional working at Hinkley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Power Station, specifically focusing on the Main Civil Works programme. As an LTQR Co-ordinator, responsible for the management and control of all Records and associated 'End' Reports (EMSR/ECSR/EESR), with a key emphasis on Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs) and Civil Works Completions and Handover. Responsible for liaising and coordinating with the Off-site Supply Chain, ensuring they are suitably advised and supported with delivering the LTQRs and associated EMSRs in a timely, controlled, and progressive manner. Maintaining compliance with the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR) regulatory requirements and Client Licence Conditions, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration within the Records Delivery Programme (RDP) and wider project teams.

Key responsibilities and specific accountabilities:

  • Implementing BYLOR’s Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) process in accordance with BYLOR’s work information.
  • Progressively populate Reinforced Concrete LTQRs enabling SCP-3 populating and signing prior to issuing to NNB for counter-sign-off.
  • Compiling, QA-Checking and assembling BYLOR's digital 'self-performing' works LTQRs.
  • Ensure the correct management of HK2201 MCW LTQRs by identifying, producing, packaging, submitting LTQRs progressively during the works.
  • Populate FieldView with BYLOR HK2201 MCW outstanding issues or defects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all project LTQR deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Facilitate the storage, organisation, and retrieval of digital LTQRs and associated End-Reports.
  • Ensure all LTQR deliverables adhere to project and BYLOR document management processes.
  • Responsible for creating LTQR placeholders, submitting LTQR documentation to workflow.
  • Ensure that BYLOR’s and Supply chains record-keeping practices adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with BYLOR's Delivery teams, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency in records management practices.
  • Responsible for QA-checking the content of the Field View Completions NCR form.
