We are partnering with the fast paced tech company to recruit an additional Senior Legal Counsel for their in-house legal team. As they expand their portfolio of products and services in the financial services and insurance space they require an additional legal advisor with experience in these sectors to ensure the robustness and compliance of their contracts.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Services Regulatory Legal Counsel based in Leicester, with work-from-home flexibility. The day-to-day tasks include providing legal advice, handling contract negotiation, preparing legal documents, and addressing various legal issues. The candidate will be essential in ensuring the company\’s compliance with financial regulations and helping navigate complex legal landscapes. FCA compliance experience will be useful but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in providing Legal Advice and handling various Legal Issues, as described above
  • Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation
  • Solid understanding and practice of Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience in financial services (FCA) regulation is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years PQE in the areas described above
