The Director of Revenue Operations will be responsible for elevating the company’s revenue operations to a best‑in‑class standard. This role owns revenue reporting, systems, and processes, and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to drive consistency, scalability, and insight across the full revenue lifecycle. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with operational rigour and cross‑functional leadership. This is a hands‑on role focused on optimising what already exists, closing gaps, and setting a high bar for how revenue operations are run across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Revenue reporting & insight: Own revenue reporting across pipeline, forecasting, bookings, retention, and growth. Ensure leadership has access to accurate, timely, and decision‑ready reporting. Define and maintain clear metric definitions and data standards across teams. Proactively surface insights, trends, and risks to support planning and execution. Own and be accountable for the commissions and bonus plans for the Revenue Organisation.
- Process excellence: Review, refine, and standardise revenue processes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success and be responsible for the enablement activities to ensure we deliver best practice. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, predictability, and scalability across the revenue engine. Ensure processes are well documented, measurable, and consistently adopted. Partner with teams to continuously improve ways of working as the business evolves.
- Tooling & systems leadership: Own the revenue technology stack, including CRM, sales tools, and reporting platforms. Drive optimisation and best‑practice usage of existing tools and be responsible for the enablement activities to ensure we deliver best practice. Lead tooling enhancements and system improvements in line with growth needs. Ensure data quality, system reliability, and strong governance.
- Cross‑functional partnership: Act as a trusted partner to go‑to‑market, Finance, and Product leadership. Align revenue operations with company strategy, targets, and planning cycles. Support forecasting, capacity planning, and performance management processes.
- People leadership & capability building: Manage, coach, and develop two direct reports. Raise the bar for operational excellence, analytical capability, and ownership within the RevOps team. Embed best‑in‑class standards, frameworks, and ways of working across the wider revenue organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Significant experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Operations. Strong background in revenue reporting, analytics, and forecasting. Proven experience improving and scaling operational processes. Confidence owning CRM and revenue tooling in a growing organisation. Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing and developing junior team members. Highly data‑driven, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused.
- Nice to have: Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment. Experience partnering closely with Finance on revenue planning and forecasting. Exposure to best‑in‑class RevOps frameworks or operating models.
If the mission excites you but your experience isn’t a perfect 1:1 match, apply anyway — we care about potential, not perfection.
AI Competency: You’ll be expected to work with AI‑powered tools as part of your role. Experience evaluating, selecting, and deploying AI solutions in production environments, with an awareness of ethics, compliance (for example GDPR), and business impact. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you should be comfortable learning, experimenting, and adopting AI responsibly as part of your daily work.
What success looks like: Revenue reporting is trusted, consistent, and widely used. Revenue processes are clear, scalable, and aligned across teams. Tooling is optimised and supports high‑quality execution. Cross‑functional teams operate against shared metrics and standards. Revenue Operations is seen as a strategic enabler, not just a support function.
Why Monta: Impact, not easy mode — your work matters, and you’ll feel it every day. Ownership from day one — we don’t micromanage, we expect you to deliver. The grind is real — priorities shift, and flexibility is sometimes needed to get things across the finish line. But so are the rewards: impact, growth, and a team that has your back. The people are extraordinary — talented, driven, and fun to work with. You’ll be challenged, supported, and inspired in equal measure.
What We Offer: A yearly education budget and extra days off to use it. A friendly and social company culture with movie nights, Friday bars, pub crawls, and more. Free lunch every day. Pension & health coverage to keep you secure for today and tomorrow. Paid parental leave to support life’s big moments. Warrants program — be part of our growth story. Flexible working hours; as long as you’re at key meetings and delivering great work, we trust you to manage your schedule. A one month electric vehicle introduction program (plus access to a shared company EV).
