Hours of duty: 32 hours per week for 41 weeks a year (Term time Mon to Fri 09.00-16.00 plus 2 weeks in the school holidays)
Scale: SP9 £41585 - £45135 FTE SP9 (£33431 - £36285) Pro rata (dependent on qualification and experience)

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking, and highly motivated School Business Manager who has a passion for working in a small busy school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and Governors as a key part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team to support the smooth running of the school.
We are looking for someone who:
- Will take ownership and oversee all matters relating to finance, compliance, HR, premises and Health & Safety
- A dedicated and professional outlook; enthusiasm about the role and the ability to use your knowledge; being flexible and organised to ensure the delivery of the best possible outcomes for each of our pupils
- A strong financial background
- A proven track record of leadership skills
- Brings the highest standards of business management, has proven experience of managing a school budget and extensive capital expenditure and can take the lead in budget planning and management, within a team or individually
- Combines solid business skills with an understanding of management and finance in a school or similar organisation (qualification such as CSBM or equivalent is desirable)
- Lead and manage with the aim of adding value across every function, from HR and facilities to procurement and income generation and Health & Safety
- Has clear communication and the ability to build effective and supportive relationships across the whole staff team
- Has the ability to lead and quality assure the delivery of facilities management, premises and catering
- Is organised, can multi-task, can communicate efficiently and in a timely manner, and can meet deadlines
