A leading UK law firm is seeking an ambitious Real Estate Associate to join its specialist Real Estate team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial property solicitor to develop a strong sector specialism, advising high profile public sector clients including the NHS. The successful candidate will also enjoy early responsibility, client exposure and the support of a highly experienced and collaborative team.
Focus on major property acquisitions and disposals. You will support the delivery of a broad range of transactional property work for a range of key clients with significant client contact from the outset. The role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to build long-term relationships within a growing and nationally recognised practice.
Key responsibilities:- Sale and purchase of business premises, particularly within the healthcare sector
- Negotiation of leases and landlord & tenant matters, including sale and leaseback transactions
- Title investigation and reporting
- Advising NHS Trust clients on property portfolio management
- Drafting deeds of easement, licences and tenancies at will
- Developing expertise in NHS funding rules relating to primary care premises
- Supporting innovative commercial arrangements, including joint ventures and partnering agreements
- Property support on corporate mergers and acquisitions involving healthcare clients
- Active involvement in client management and business development activities
