Solicitor / Supervisor – Employers’ & Public Liability (EL/PL)

Location: UK-Wide Remote, Hybrid, or Office-Based (Birmingham preferred)

Salary: Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)

A leading national Casualty Injury practice is seeking a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Paralegal to undertake a supervisory position within its Employers’ and Public Liability (EL/PL) team. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and recent client acquisitions, offering a platform for legal professionals with strong leadership capability and technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a small team managing litigated EL/PL cases
  • Maintain personal caseload of complex personal injury claims
  • Monitor and report on team performance, compliance, and billing metrics
  • Manage workload allocation and escalate risks appropriately
  • Support client relationship development and business development activity

Candidate profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate

  • Proven experience in EL/PL or broader personal injury litigation

Additional Information
