Solicitor / Legal Executive – Industrial DiseaseExperienced Fee Earner – This Legal 500 Firm is seeking an experienced fee earner to join its specialist disease litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and technical area of litigation, focusing on the defence of various disease claims.

Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £55,000

Previous Experience: A background in disease claims

About the RoleThe successful applicant will handle a wide variety of Employer\’s Liability & Public Liability Disease claims including respiratory and lung disease, skin disease, vibration injuries and occupational cancer, including asbestos-related diseases. The firm boasts an impressive client base, including insurers, reinsurers, TPAs, local authorities, and corporates. Experience in disease claims is highly desirable.

Conduct investigations, take witness statements, and review medical records and reports

Collaborate with a large, experienced disease team

Handle a variety of work on behalf of insurers, reinsurers, and government authorities

Identify evidence requirements and liaise with third parties for documentation

Support Partners in growing and maintaining client relationships

Provide a high level of client service, ensuring professional service delivery at all stages

The Ideal CandidateThe firm are looking for experienced personal injury or civil litigators, ideally with a background in disease claims or Employers liability claims.
