The London office of this highly respected international law firm is seeking a talented Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level to join its highly regarded team advising on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Location: London
- Salary: £115,000 - £145,000 + bonus and benefits
- Work pattern: hybrid
- Experience: Strong insolvency and restructuring experience from a respected team
The team is recognised for its work in financially distressed situations and formal insolvency processes, advising a broad range of stakeholders including insolvency practitioners, lenders, funds, corporates and directors. Clients span sectors including retail and consumer, financial services, insurance, technology and professional services.

You will work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Advising on domestic and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies
- Sale and purchase of assets from insolvency processes
- Insolvency litigation including antecedent transactions and asset recovery
- Advising boards of financially distressed companies
- Managing insolvency appointments and security / appointment reviews
- Supporting clients through turnaround and distressed situations
A growing proportion of the team's work has a cross-border dimension.
Who they are looking for:
Applications are welcomed from lawyers who:
- Have approximately 4-6 years' PQE in restructuring and insolvency
- Possess experience across transactional, advisory and insolvency litigation matters
- Are confident managing matters and maintaining strong client relationships
- Have experience with sale documentation, insolvency processes and distressed company advice
- Are interested in contributing to business development and practice growth
- Experience or interest in retail insolvency, distressed M&A, insolvency litigation, title to goods issues or tax-related insolvency matters would be advantageous.
