An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Competition Solicitor to join a top UK Law firm and an expanding Competition team in London. This role is ideal for lawyers seeking to accelerate their career within a top-tier practice, working closely with leading specialists on complex, high-value and strategically important UK, EU and multi-jurisdictional competition matters.

Previous Experience: 2+ PQE with UK and/or EU competition law
The Role
- Advising an impressive client base including FTSE-listed companies, global brands, multinationals and fast-growth innovators across sectors such as technology, financial services, automotive, energy & infrastructure, retail and consumer goods.
- The work offers genuine breadth across both contentious and non-contentious matters, providing exposure to some of the most sophisticated competition mandates in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on UK, EU and cross-border merger control, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 reviews
- Acting on antitrust and cartel investigations
- Providing practical, commercially driven competition compliance advice
- Supporting clients on competition litigation and regulatory appeals
- Advising on the National Security and Investment Act within corporate transactions
- Engaging directly with clients and contributing to business development initiatives
About You
- 2+ years’ PQE with strong grounding in UK and/or EU competition law
- Broad experience across antitrust advisory, merger control and investigations
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client engagement
- Excellent academic credentials and a keen interest in competition law developments
