We have been instructed by this leading catastrophic injury team to recruit an experienced solicitor to help handle the increased workload of the department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a defendant personal injury solicitor to develop their career within a leading national law firm, handling complex and high-value claims on behalf of major insurer and corporate clients.
Our client’s national complex injury team handles a varied range of claims including motor, employers’ liability, public liability and product liability matters. These cases frequently involve brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and substantial dependency.
Depending on your level, you will also have opportunities to contribute to the supervision and development of junior colleagues.
- Managing a caseload of catastrophic and high-value defendant personal injury claims across motor and EL/PL
- Assisting with initial investigations, liability and quantum analysis, and case strategy
- Identifying and instructing appropriate medical and non-medical experts
- Managing deadlines, financial targets and management information requirements
You will ideally be a qualified solicitor with experience managing defendant personal injury litigation. Experience of motor, employers’ liability or public liability claims is preferred. Commercial awareness and a clear understanding of insurers’ priorities.
