Employment Solicitor / Senior Associate – London This is a fantastic opportunity to join the London employment team of this leading international firm. The successful candidate will advise on an exciting mix of contentious and non-contentious work for a stellar client list operating across numerous sectors. If you are looking for a new challenge with a growing employment law team, we would like to hear from you. Summary Job title: Senior Associate Location: London Salary: £110,000 + (depending on experience) Work pattern: Hybrid Previous Experience: Demonstratable experience of dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters Candidate profile Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong CV with excellent academics and proven prior employment law experience. The firm expects to attract confident assertive individuals with an excellent technical understanding coupled with a practical approach. Other attributes include: Keen commercial awareness and the ability to adapt and think on one’s feet where necessary; Excellent attention to detail; Commitment to providing outstanding standards of client care. Genuine passion for this area of work. Snapshot of work undertaken by the team Advising major aviation client on employment contract review Defending major leisure chain in relation to board-level discrimination case Advising on complex outsourcing project involving major restructure and TUPE exercise. Defending wide range of Employment Tribunal claims. This can be anything from discrimination and unfair dismissal to claims brought under the Equality Act as well as other types of issues such as holiday pay claims.
