This expanding team is looking for a talented construction lawyer. Work consists of a mix of contentious (75%) and non-contentious (25%) matters. The department handles a wide range of domestic and international work for major contractors in the private sector, with some public sector work.
Ideally, the Partner is seeking candidates with construction experience, but they are also open to those passionate about developing a career in construction and eager to utilise transferable skills. Clients include major national contractors across sectors such as sports, leisure, public sector, and manufacturing. The work is predominantly contentious (75%), with some non-contentious (25%). The contentious cases are highly complex and often multi-jurisdictional. The team collaborates across its national and international offices, offering a variety of challenging and exciting instructions.
Ideal candidate – opportunity for retraining
Previous construction experience is advantageous but not essential. The team values enthusiasm and interest in construction work.
