You will be joining a well-established team in Birmingham with a fantastic reputation for handling high-value catastrophic injury matters. This role is particularly exciting as it is to work with an experienced lawyer who works with a mix of self-insured corporate and insurance clients. As such, you will work with them directly and help them to further develop their book of work.

Variety of high value EL/PL and RTA

The role promises a mixed caseload of EL/PL and RTA-related injuries. You will be working with clients in various sectors including, retail and manufacturing. The range of claims is equally broad including:

  • Brain, spinal, amputation and fatal injury claims
  • High-value RTA, EL and PL matters
  • Complex and multi-party litigation

Overview of the opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and progressing claims from instruction through to resolution
  • Drafting pleadings and attending JSMs, mediations and court hearings
  • Working closely with experts, counsel and insurer clients
  • Contributing to case strategy on high-value matters
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
