An exciting opportunity to join a growing national firm and develop the Court of Protection department whilst working alongside specialist and established fee earners engaging in a meaningful and diverse caseload.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £70,000 DoE
Previous Experience: NQ + Dealing with Court of Protection matters and knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act. Property and Financial affairs experience is essential.
The role: The team prides itself on providing the highest quality advice and achieving the best results for their clients. These clients’ needs will be broad, often complex and arise from age, illness or injury. You will be working on high-value court of protection matters as well as developing more junior fee earners.
Day to day tasks may include:
- Visiting clients in their homes
- Liaising with family members, care homes, case managers
- Working with financial advisors to put financial plans in place
The ideal candidate: The team is seeking a talented and driven Solicitor who is willing to work as part of a team and is wanting to progress their career in this unique area of law. You will have demonstrable experience and deep understanding of Court of Protection work and a passion for this sector.
